Wall-Mounted Wire Shelving

Fasten the brackets (fixed shelves) or posts (adjustable kits) to the wall using anchors suited to your wall construction and the weight you plan to store. Wall anchors are not included, so purchase them before installing. Step-by-step instructions are available on our assembly guides page.

Fixed wall shelves sit 1" from the wall, and adjustable kits sit 3" from the wall. On both, the brackets extend about 1" past the front of the shelf. Add these measurements to the shelf depth when checking clearance near doors, walkways, and equipment.

Yes. Adjustable kits include the wire shelves, wall-mounted posts, shelf brackets, and plastic shelf clips. Fixed wall shelves don't use clips, since each shelf mounts on two wall brackets with mounting plates. Anchors are not included with either style.

Yes, as long as there is room on the posts. Wall-mounted posts are notched every 1", and each added shelf needs two adjustable wire shelf brackets and a wire shelf in the same depth and width. For more shelves than your posts can fit, wall-mounted posts are available up to 64" tall in our wall-mounted wire shelving parts collection.

Use the add-on kit for your mounting style. Fixed wall shelves expand with wall-mounted wire shelving add-ons, and adjustable kits expand with adjustable wall shelving add-ons. Each add-on kit includes one shelf and must match the depth of your existing shelving. To add more shelves to a new adjustable section, add brackets and shelves from our wall-mounted wire shelving parts collection.

Yes, if they are Shelving Inc. brand wire shelves. Two wall brackets, which include a mounting plate and screws, mount one shelf directly to the wall. Shelving Inc. parts are generally not compatible with other brands of wire shelving.

Chrome wall shelves, kits, and wine racks are for indoor, dry storage only. The 18"d black epoxy wall-mounted wire shelf is rated for dry, moist, or humid environments, and Quantum black epoxy wine racks are rated for dry and wet environments.

Chrome wire shelving is produced in batches, so slight variations in tone, including subtle yellow or blue hues, can occur between items, especially across different sizes. These differences are normal and do not affect performance or durability.
