Green Epoxy vs. Chrome Wire Shelving
Both finishes use the same open wire design with 1" shelf adjustment. The main difference is the environment each one is made for.
Choose Green Epoxy Wire Shelving When:
- The space is humid, wet, or sees temperature fluctuations
- You want antimicrobial protection against mold, mildew, and bacteria (Shelving Inc. and Metro)
Choose Chrome Wire Shelving When:
- The storage area is indoor and dry
- You need a wider range of Shelving Inc. unit sizes and accessories

This collection includes three green epoxy shelving lines. Each line uses its own posts and shelves, so choose one line for each unit and stay with it when adding parts later.

Capacities are for evenly distributed loads. Shelving Inc. units come with 3, 4, or 5 shelves, Olympic units with 3 or 4 shelves, and Metro units as 4- or 5-shelf starter and add-on units. Check each product page for the exact rating.

Add shelves to an existing unit, build a custom size, make a unit mobile, or mount shelves on the wall with individual components.
Green Epoxy Wire Shelves
Individual shelves come with shelf clips or split sleeves in depths from 12" to 36" and widths up to 72". Match the shelf to the brand of your existing posts.
Stationary Posts
Posts with leveling feet from Shelving Inc., Olympic, and Metro, sold individually or in 4-packs. Four posts are needed for each unit.
Casters and Mobile Posts
Shelving Inc. green posts work with Shelving Inc. casters. For Olympic and Metro, choose mobile posts that accept stem casters (not included), since their stationary posts cannot be used with casters.
Wall Mount Brackets
Olympic single and double brackets mount 14", 18", or 24"d shelves on a wall. Use 2 single brackets per shelf, or add a double bracket to join two shelves end to end.
Green Epoxy Wire Shelving Compatibility
Shelves, posts, and accessories from different brands may not be interchangeable. Shelving Inc. green wire shelving cannot be used with Shelving Inc. chrome wire shelving parts, and Metro products are not interchangeable with Shelving Inc. products.
When adding to shelving you already own, match the brand of your existing posts. If you are not sure which brand you have, contact our team before ordering.

- Height: Choose from 33" to 86"h, depending on brand.
- Capacity: Shelving Inc. shelves hold 300 lbs. Olympic shelves hold 600–800 lbs, depending on width.
- Mobility: Add Shelving Inc. casters to Shelving Inc. green units, or use Olympic or Metro mobile posts with stem casters.
- Wall space: Use wall mount brackets to add shelving above prep areas or floor-level units.

No. Shelving Inc. green wire shelving cannot be used with Shelving Inc. chrome wire shelving parts. Green shelves should be paired with green posts from the same brand.
