Wire Wine Racks

Collection: Wire Wine Racks

Wire Wine Racks for Restaurants, Retail Displays, and Wine Cellars

Wire wine racks hold bottles in individual cradles at a slight angle, with an open-wire design that keeps air moving around each bottle and limits dust buildup. This collection includes chrome wine rack shelves and kits, wall-mounted wine racks, black epoxy wine racks and carts, and bulk and security wine storage.

Wine racks are 14" deep, and most hold 9 bottles per shelf on 36" widths and 12 bottles per shelf on 48" widths. Chrome wine racks are made for indoor, dry storage, while black epoxy wine racks are rated for dry and wet environments.

Choosing a Finish

Chrome vs. Black Epoxy Wire Wine Racks

Both finishes use 14"d wine cradle shelves that adjust in 1" increments. The main differences are where they can be used and the range of sizes available.

Choose Chrome Wine Racks When:

  • The storage area is indoor and dry
  • You want to add wine shelves to an existing 14"d Shelving Inc. unit
  • You need 24", 30", 36", or 48" widths, holding 6 to 12 bottles per shelf

Choose Black Epoxy Wine Racks When:

  • The space may be wet or humid, such as a wine cellar
  • You want an antimicrobial, rust-resistant finish with a 15-year limited warranty
  • You need bulk, security, or mobile wine storage

Wire Wine Rack Types and Bottle Capacity

Choose the type of rack first, then the width and shelf count for the number of bottles you need to store.

Larger Collections

Bulk and Security Wine Storage

For larger or higher-value collections, black epoxy bulk and security units store wine by the case and add panels and doors to restrict access.

Bulk Wine Shelving

74"h 5-tier units with back and side panels hold 12 or 16 cases. Slanted dividers hold bottles at a 10-degree incline to help preserve cork moisture.

Wine Security Shelving and Carts

Units with lockable doors (lock not included) and back and side panels protect wine from pilferage. Choose a mix of cradle and flat shelves (8 or 11 cases) or bulk storage (12 or 16 cases), stationary or on casters.

Wire Wine Rack Compatibility

Shelving Inc. chrome wine rack shelves fit 1" diameter round posts and can be added to any 14"d Shelving Inc. unit. Chrome wine racks are for indoor, dry storage only.

Black epoxy wine racks are made by Quantum and may not be interchangeable with other brands of wire shelving. Contact our team before combining them with shelving you already own.

How to Choose a Wire Wine Rack

Check these details before choosing a wine rack for your space.

Check these before you order:

  • Bottle count: Plan on 9 bottles per shelf on 36"w racks and 12 on 48"w racks, or store by the case with bulk units.
  • Floor or wall: Choose freestanding racks, or wall-mounted racks when floor space is limited.
  • Environment: Chrome is for dry areas. Choose black epoxy for wet or humid spaces such as cellars.
  • Security: Choose security shelving or carts with doors for high-value inventory.
  • Mobility: Choose a wine cart or security cart to move bottles between storage and service.
