Removing unnecessary aisles frees up floor space and increases storage capacity in the same footprint.

This collection includes complete Sliding Wire Shelf Storage Kits in single wide and double wide layouts, plus separate track kits and skate kits. Complete kits come in 18" to 36" depths, 24" to 72" widths, 54" to 96" heights, and track lengths from 72" to 240". The tracks and skates allow a load capacity of 1,500 lbs per shelving unit, and every kit is NSF certified.

Choosing a Kit Layout

Single Wide vs. Double Wide High-Density Mobile Wire Shelving

Both complete kits include chrome wire shelves, posts, a track kit, and skate kits. The difference is how many units sit side by side on the track.

Single Wide Kits Include:

  • 3 shelving units that slide along one lane of track
  • 12 wire shelves and 12 posts with leveling feet
  • 1 single track kit with 2 tracks
  • 3 single skate kits, one per unit

Double Wide Kits Include:

  • 3 rows of 2 units each, set end to end on two lanes of track
  • 24 wire shelves and 24 posts with leveling feet
  • 1 double track kit with 3 tracks
  • 3 double skate kits and 3 wing kits

Choose single wide for a narrower room or wall, and double wide to fit twice as many units on the same length of track.

Track and Skate Kits for High-Density Mobile Wire Shelving

Track and skate kits are sold separately for building a custom layout. Shelving is not included with these kits.

  • Single track kit: 2 aluminum tracks, 4 end stops, and a drill bit for one lane of shelving, in lengths from 72" to 240".
  • Double track kit: 3 tracks, 6 end stops, and a drill bit to support two lanes of shelving, in lengths from 72" to 240".
  • Single skate kit: 2 skates, enough for one shelving unit. Match the skate depth (18", 21", 24", 30", or 36") to the depth of the shelving.
  • Double skate kit: Attaches 2 shelving units end to end on a double track, in the same skate depths.

Stability and Compatibility for Sliding Wire Shelving

To keep units stable, 18"d high-density mobile wire shelving should not exceed 72" in height. High-density mobile wire shelving is made for indoor, dry storage only.

Track and skate kits work with Shelving Inc. wire shelving posts, so you can put chrome wire shelving you already own on tracks. Match the skate depth to the depth of your shelving.
