Slanted Wire Shelving

Collection: Slanted Wire Shelving

Slanted Wire Shelving for Faster Picking and FIFO Inventory Rotation

Slanted wire shelving, also called angled or sloped wire shelving, tilts shelves forward at a 25-degree angle, so items and bins stay front-facing, visible, and within easy reach. The angle supports gravity-fed retrieval and FIFO (first-in, first-out) inventory rotation, which makes it common for picking, packing, and restocking in food service, healthcare, retail, and warehouse settings.

This collection includes stationary slanted shelving units, mobile slanted shelving carts, and complete systems with plastic bins. Units come in 18" and 24" depths and 36" and 48" widths, with each shelf rated for 400 lbs, evenly distributed. Every unit is chrome-plated steel and NSF certified.

Choosing a Setup

Stationary Slanted Wire Shelving vs. Slanted Wire Shelving Carts

Both use the same 25-degree slanted shelves combined with flat shelves. The difference is whether inventory stays in one picking location or moves to where it is needed.

Choose Stationary Slanted Shelving When:

  • You need a fixed picking or restocking location
  • You want a 63"h 5-tier or 74"h 7-tier unit on leveling feet
  • Each shelf will hold up to 400 lbs, evenly distributed

Choose a Slanted Shelving Cart When:

  • Inventory needs to move to workstations, patient floors, or packing areas
  • You want a 69"h or 80"h cart on 5" casters (2 with brakes) with donut bumpers
  • The total load will stay within the cart's 1,200 lb capacity

Need picking storage at work height? Slanted work station carts are 40"h, with one flat shelf and one slanted shelf.
