Pallet Rack System Guide
System Components
Our pallet rack systems use industry-standard teardrop-style uprights and step beams, ensuring compatibility and ease of expansion.
- Upright Frames: Available in light-duty (18" deep) and heavy-duty (29" deep) configurations
- Step Beams: Multiple capacity ratings from 3,385 to 9,135 lbs per pair
- Wire Decking: Provides support for pallets and improves fire safety
- Anchor Bolts: Secure frames to concrete floors for stability
Sizing Your System
Frame Height: Measure floor to ceiling (or sprinkler heads), then subtract 18" for clearance and the height of your loaded pallet.
Frame Depth: Take your pallet depth and subtract 6" for proper clearance.
Beam Length: 96" beams are most common, allowing two standard 48"×40" pallets per level. Select beam capacity based on your heaviest loaded pallet weight.
Configuration Options
Starter vs. Add-on: Starter units include 2 upright frames. Add-on bays share a frame with the previous bay, requiring only 1 additional frame.
Multi-Aisle Layouts: Create back-to-back rows with adjustable aisle spacing for optimal warehouse flow.
Stock Availability: Green frames indicate in-stock items for faster delivery.
🛡️ Galvanized Pallet Racking
Implementing galvanized pallet racking can significantly enhance your storage capabilities. Incredibly durable and resilient, these starter units are ideal for environments exposed to moisture, corrosive elements, or temperature fluctuations. Whether used in an outdoor storage area, warehouse, cooler, or freezer, galvanized pallet rack is a dependable solution for your storage needs.
Select "Galvanized (Silver)" from the Frame Type dropdown above to configure your galvanized rack system.
