Collection: Chainsaws & Pole Saws
Chainsaws and pole saws handle the cutting that line clearance, storm restoration and grounds work demand. Top-handle saws are built to be run one-handed from a bucket or a climbing position, where the operator's other hand is on the structure and the saw has to be compact and balanced; they are professional tools and are not intended for ground use by an untrained operator. Rear-handle saws in 14" and 16" bar lengths cover felling, bucking and general ground cutting. Battery platforms have taken over much of this work because they start instantly, idle silently and avoid a fuel mix — which matters on residential streets and near energised conductors — while gasoline saws remain where run time and sustained cutting outweigh convenience. Pole saws extend reach into the canopy from the ground, either as dedicated tools or as an attachment on a shared power head, so overhead limbs come down without a ladder or a climb. Bar length sets what the saw can cut in one pass; chain pitch, gauge and drive link count set what fits it. Replacement chains and bars are held in Accessories & Consumables.
