Flammable Storage Cabinets for Safe, OSHA-Compliant Storage
Flammable cabinets are heavy-duty steel safety cabinets built to store flammable and combustible liquids, including paints, solvents, fuels, oils, and cleaning chemicals, in compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.106 and NFPA Code 30 standards. Each cabinet features double-wall steel construction with a 1.5" air gap, leak-tight 2" sump pans, self-latching doors, and three-point locking systems designed to contain spills and slow the spread of fire in the event of an emergency.
At Shelving.com, we carry flammable safety cabinets in the most-requested configurations for warehouses, manufacturing facilities, laboratories, garages, and maintenance shops:
- Standard 34"d Flammable Safety Cabinets - available in self-close and manual-close double-door styles for high-capacity storage
- Standard 18"d Flammable Safety Cabinets - self-close and manual-close double-door options for medium-volume storage
- Slimline Flammable Safety Cabinets - self-close and manual-close single-door designs ideal for tight workspaces
All cabinets ship with leveling feet, vent bungs, and grounding connectors, and are finished with a chemical-resistant powder-coated paint to resist corrosion from harsh substances.
How to Choose the Right Flammable Cabinet
Selecting the correct cabinet starts with understanding what you're storing and how much of it. Standard double-door cabinets offer the largest interior capacity for drums, jugs, and bulk containers, where slimline single-door cabinets fit neatly against walls or between equipment. Self-closing doors are required in many jurisdictions and recommended for facilities handling Class I flammable liquids, while manual-close doors are well-suited for lower-traffic storage areas.
