Hi-Vis & FR Clothing

Collection: Hi-Vis & FR Clothing

Two different jobs share this shelf. Arc-rated clothing is engineered to a calorie rating: a Salisbury 40 cal/cm2 coat and bib overall set is built for the incident energy of switching and racking work, and the rating on the label is what the hazard analysis has to be matched against - never guess it. Flame-resistant rain gear does the same work in weather, keeping a crew dry without introducing a garment that would melt or feed a flame, which is why an FR-rated jacket and bib replace ordinary waterproofs on an energized site. High-visibility apparel answers a different risk entirely: being seen by a driver, an operator, or a crane. Class 2 vests carry the reflective tape area required for roadside and yard work at normal traffic speeds, in plain or multi-pocket styles, and hi-vis bib trousers extend that coverage to the legs. Size arc-rated garments over the layers actually worn underneath, and retire anything with a hole, a scorch, or a repair that was not done to the manufacturer's spec - a patched garment no longer carries its rating.
