Collection: Vacuums & Dust Extraction
Jobsite vacuums pick up what the work produces — water from a flooded vault, concrete dust from drilling, swarf from cutting, and the general debris that has to be gone before a job is signed off. Wet/dry capability is the point: the same machine handles standing water and dry dust without a change of filter routine, which is why a shop vacuum and a site vacuum are different things. Capacity runs from a quarter-gallon handheld that lives in the truck and cleans up after a single fitting, through compact 1.6 and 2 gallon units for panel and cabinet work, to 6 gallon machines that will take a real spill. Handheld models trade capacity for the ability to work one-handed at height. Running on the same battery platform as the rest of the tools removes the cord, which is usually the reason a vacuum does not get used at all. Dust extraction is the other half: shrouds and integrated extractors capture silica dust at the point of drilling or cutting rather than collecting it afterwards, which is a control measure rather than a cleanup. Filters and fleece bags are consumables — keep spares.
