Hastings Plastic YELLOW Break Away Belt Hook (3542)

Key Features:

• Hastings 3542 break-away belt hook for carrying a hand line on the lineman's belt
• Non-conductive nylon plastic construction
• Designed to straighten out and release the hand line under a sudden tug or pull
• Prong doubles as storage for washers and nuts during pole line hardware work
• Weighs 0.10 lb; made in USA

Benefits:

• If the hand line snags a tree limb or a pole attachment, the hook lets go instead of pulling the climber
• Non-conductive material means one less metal item on the belt near energized hardware
• Keeping washers and nuts on the prong stops small hardware from going to the ground during an install
• At a tenth of a pound it adds nothing meaningful to a loaded climbing belt
