Salisbury SALCON Silicone Spray, 16 oz Can (S99)

Key Features:

• Salisbury SALCON silicone spray, catalog S99, in a 16 oz aerosol can
• Formulated for use on orange SALCOR and on rubber PPE
• Reduces friction on rubber protective equipment
• Forms an oxygen barrier that helps reduce corona cutting and weather checking on rubber equipment
• Also acts as a water repellent coating and can be applied to spark plugs and battery terminals in damp weather; ships ground only

Benefits:

• Corona cutting and weather checking are what retire rubber goods early, so slowing them stretches the life of expensive sleeves and blankets.
• A lower-friction surface makes rubber gloves and sleeves easier to pull on and take off.
• The water repellent film keeps moisture off rubber goods between uses.
• A 16 oz can treats a crew worth of rubber goods rather than one worker set.
• The spark plug and battery terminal use makes it worth keeping on the truck year round.
