Meters & Test Equipment

Collection: Meters & Test Equipment

Meters and test equipment let electricians, linemen, and maintenance crews confirm what a circuit is doing before they work on it. Clamp meters read current without breaking the circuit, in both analog and auto-ranging true-RMS digital forms, and models with a built-in worklight stay readable inside a panel or a vault. Non-contact voltage testers give a quick first check for energized conductors, while proof testers and voltmeter testers verify at the higher voltages a pen tester will not reach. Phase sequence and motor rotation meters confirm rotation direction before a motor is energized, and circuit breaker finders trace a circuit back to its breaker without shutting the panel down. Proving units confirm a tester is working before and after a test, which is what turns a reading into a verified dead circuit. Around the instruments sit the parts that keep them usable: test lead sets, insulated and silicone-jacketed leads, overhead probes for reaching conductors at a distance, and the clips, insulators, and boots that adapt a lead to whatever it has to grip. Whether the job is troubleshooting a panel, commissioning a motor, or verifying a line is de-energized, this equipment provides the measurements crews rely on.
