Paper towel holder October 9, 2018 Reviewer: Anonymous Person   I hung this on a wire shelf adjacent to my garage sink. It works very well, the roll does not slide off and towels dispense easily. So versatile! July 18, 2018 Reviewer: Paola from N.C.   This paper towel holder solved a big problem for me:  what to do with an undersized roll of towels.  Vertical tabletop holders are too tall, and the conventional wall- mounted are too wide!  Enter this little gem...mounts easily on any open shelving system and accepts any size roll.  The diameter from the area where the roll sits to the back of the unit is about 3 1/2 inches, so the largest roll of towels should fit.  The ' 8 = 20 rolls fit easily and still can 'roll!' Simple yet Highly Functional Paper Towel Holder February 9, 2018 Reviewer: DJ from Dayton, Ohio   I bought one to mount on a Baker's Cart.  It's a great way to maximize counter space without the hassle of wall mounting.  The unit firmly hangs on any wire shelf.  Also, the unit can be quickly moved to any wire shelf to suit various needs.  However, the unit is so inexpensive, and it requires so little space that I decided to buy a 2nd one for the kitchen.  That may seem excessive to some, yet it substantially reduces required motion.  Time and motion is money. To answer the criticism of the unit allowing for gravity to unwind an entire roll – all I can simply say that I have not experienced that.  Frankly, for that to happen I believe there has to be someone or something assisting in the deed.  If this were to be a problem then a couple strips of masking tape, electrical) tape, or rubber bands placed on the section that goes in the tube of the paper towel roll would provide enough friction to stop the roll from unwinding via gravity. Paper towel unspools easily. September 28, 2016 Reviewer: Michael Goettee from Avondale Estates, GA United States   I wanted this to be perfect on my matching rolling wire shelving used for an artist's table next to my easel. I've noticed that two things happen. It wants to slide of the end of the rack easily, but a stationery clamp at the end helped. But the more annoying problem is that if one sheet of paper hangs over, the next thing you know the towel has unspooled itself on the floor just from the weight of that one sheet. Like funny pictures you may have seen of a cat unspooling a roll of toilet paper. Now I'm going to have to rig something else to provide some traction of something. Was this review helpful to you?

Versatile, functional, roll does slip of easily. November 29, 2015 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Texas   Versatile, functional, easy to move around (since I have several of these wire shelves in my kitchen). The roll does slip off the end easily, despite the curved end designed to hold it in place.   I had to design my own means of keeping the roll in place, but this was easy to do.  A clothespin works well for this.
